Vacancy: AIDS Project in Uttarakhand

Mamta Samajik Sanstha,Dehradun, Uttarakhand is about to start its

Targeted Interventions project with the support of Uttarakhand AIDS

Control Society under NACP III. We will be working on issues of

HIV/AIDS Prevention among high risk groups in and around Dehradun.

We need following staff for the above project for one year which is

likely to be extended.

•One Project Manager – Female/Male

• Postgraduate degree in Public Health, Sociology, social work,

management or other related discipline with minimum 3 years

experience in the similar project

• Strong Facilitation skills, willing to work with FSWs, MSM & TGs,

Good understanding of community mobilization process etc

• Excellent oral and written communication skills in Hindi and

English

• Experience in preparing reports on computer.

• Able to work independently/team and exercise initiative.

• Strong analytical skills desirable

• Ability to handle people and very strong negotiation and

liaisoning skills.

• Salary: Rs 8000pm

One Counselor -

• Postgraduate degree in Psychology, Social work, Sociology or other

related discipline with minimum 2 years experience in the similar

project

•Strong Facilitation skills, willing to work with FSWs, MSM & TGs etc

•Excellent oral and written communication skills in Hindi and English

•Experience in preparing reports on computer.

•Salary: Rs 6500pm

Outreach Workers – 4 (2 Females,2 Males)

•Preferably Graduate in sociology or other related discipline with

minimum 2 years experience in the similar project

•Strong Facilitation skills, willing to work with FSWs, MSM & TGs etc

•Excellent oral and written communication skills in Hindi and basic

computer skill

• Salary: Rs 5000pm

One Accountant –

•Graduate in commerce (B.Com) with minimum 2 years experience in the

similar field

•Basic computer skill with MS Word, Excel, Tally packages

•Salary: Rs 5000pm
