Guest guest
Hello walhof@... (walhof), In reference to your comment: è A patient being seen for eustachian tube dysfunction: è We added E to Z ratio to the physical examination, è which is 15/19. I checked Stedman's Plastic Surgery?ENT/Dentistry words and came up empty.. I also checked ' Abbreviations, Dorlands, Stedman's Concise, Google, and Family Practice Notebook on the web and found nothing. If it were me, I'd transcribe it verbatim, and then I'd flag it or ask them directly. The only ratio that comes close that I can think of is E to A ratio, but that's cardiac. If you find out.. let us know. Sorry I couldn't be of more help. You are correct, however, that normally ratios are written with a colon between the numbers.
