Have any of you read the books " Un-dieting " or " Beyond The Shadow of a

Diet " ? If so would you recommend them? What about any of the other

books listed in the files section? Which do you all think are the best

or most helpful?

Thanks,

Martha

Marrtha,

I have read Un-Dieting, in fact that is where I found the simple

fullness chart that I have used. I found Un-Dieting to be a decent

introduction to the non-dieting approach, but I found that the bulk of

the book was geared towards emotional work, which is needed for sure,

yet was too daunting for me in the beginning.

I am glad you found and read the book list in the Files section here.

Its a work in process and if ANY MEMBER will write a 'review/feedback'

for books they have read, I will add those under the book title for

others to read there too.

Hi, I would recommend the book Övercoming Overeating " . There is

also a website and yahoo group on this approach. It is a similar

approach to IE and it is my favorite.

and just wrote up a little review for them while they are fresh in my

mind. They were both great books!

You can either delete yourself by going to Edit Membership and

clicking the Leave Group button there or you can email Gillian (group

owner) and ask her to remove you.

Best wishes with your new direction - Katcha
