Guest guest
Dear Forum Bhopal NGOs have decided to gather under one umbrella for World Aids Day happenings Arround 12 NGOs organized a one day planning meeting in Gandhi Bhvan Bhopal. The participants were from the agencies such as MPSSS, Asha Nikethan, CCC Bhopal, District supervisor of ICTC BHopal, Navjeevan, Aramba, CRS, BSSS College, Action Aid, MPVHA, FPAI Bhopal Branch and Positive Network of Bhopal And many other participants took part in the discussion. They selected activites like exhibition, road show, street plays, puppet play, and IEC distributiion etc. One core group was selected for this pupose. MSW students from BSSS college will be giving service as volunteers. for this program. This was pioneer initiative in the day of WAD. CRS is backing up the program. MPSSS will raise the fund for the program. The objective of the program is- to give awareness to the common public. - to bind the NGOs those who are working in the field -to convice the public that still this kind of activities are worthful. It is a humble attempt after ujjain. Friends, If we can combine every district like this awareness will high and all the NGOs will be working together for the noble cause. Some times NGOs merely becomes program oriented. But at the same time there are good NGOs. Let the government open their eyes and involve these groups into the development. In India involvement of NGO is old a concept but I doubt how many NGOs are selected for the deveolpmental activities in states like MP. This kinds of initiative will raise the faith in the NGOs and governement will come up with more grass root level programs in the field of HIV/Aids. The whole urban areas were shaking when red ribbon train was moving but dear friends what about the rural people ? Are they not affected. (I dont deny that some vilages near cities were shown the street plays you know the impact of that ?) Get up dear friends and hate HIV and not the HIV patient (Social worker) BSSS College Bhopal jpanthali@... mobile :09424000468
