Guest guest
Dear Forum members, India has lost R8 worth US$ 324 Million, we have lost RCC R8 worth US $ 462 Million together it is almost US$ 800 million ( nearly Rs. 4000/- cr) How did we goof up so badly? Who is responsible? Should the current CCM India be held accountable? Have we learned some lessons? Are we prepared to learn some lessons? How is the Government/CCM trying to improve the process? How are we preparing to " write/develop " better proposals? How are we becoming more fair and transparent about the proposal seeking and development process? How is the Civil Society getting togehter from being a fragmented, silent observer entity? Are we we gearing up to have real participatory mindset? Are we ready to share our performance (success as well as failure) in public domain? When are we going to learn to be accountable and transparent? Are we ready to make CCM an empowered entity? (to start with budget enough funds to have its own office and staff). Could we do something about elections and participation in the CCM membership? Would the Chair please seek some opinion/view from outside of the current members? Can the website be improved and be made more useful and updated regulary and become dynamic and response? Can we get to learn to get ourselves stand up on our two feet without the disguise of " support and TA " from the big players? When are we going to learn to be able to take dissenting voices in the true spirit? Can we learn to do some introspection and be bold enough to say we have made a mistake? Losing Rs. 4000 cr in Round 8 should mean something to someone, somewhere? or does it? It is a shame and actually vain, arrogant and have an attitude of " so what " we will submit the same proposal next round " and deny an opportunity to geniune participants who could do better in comparison to people who were favoured for R8?
