Information request- community based Child focussed programs

Dear colleagues

This letter come to requesting your assistance in sourcing out information on

exisitng research, organisations and universities with expertise on children

affected by HIV.

In order to develop a meaningful program for addressing their needs within a

community based child-development perspective. We are presently identifying

existing strengths and gaps within a broad based child centred approach. We

would like to study any frameworks existing which addresses their vulnerability

and behavior towards risk reduction.

We would like to involve experts on the issue too. We wonder if there are

studies related to t he topic published {or to be published} recently and

request you to share those materials with us.

INSA India would like to use and study the information available and link it to

our community based HIV prevention and care programs too.

We would like to be linked to local research studies on the issue within India.

INSA India is linked to OVC taskforce for other information.

We do realise that OVC care is presently distinct from traditional models of

child care, most of the time.

Kindly let us know of your contacts working on children affected by HIV and

AIDS.

Also put us on the e-discussion presently happening. Can you send us the list of

those working with Children affected by HIV and AIDS?.
