I have recently gotten back into baking homemade whole wheat bread (from fresh ground flour), after coming off of my last low carb diet ever where bread, ANY bread was verboten. (For you non-german speakers, verboten means forbidden.)I just made another batch and I think this one is the best yet. I am still tweaking with my recipe, but when I bake my weakly bread, I know that what I am making is not only going to taste good, but also be good for me and my family and that makes me feel good.
