World AIDS Day 2008 - Global Advocacy Campaign for 1 Million HIV Testing

We are extremely pleased to share with you our organisation profile

(www.aidshealth.org) that had completed 20 years of serving the community,

providing high quality HIV treatment and support services and advocacy for

affordable, accessible HIV treatment and prevention, research working closely

with people living with HIV AIDS. We are serving over 70,000 PLHAs in 20

countries providing treatment, care and support, advocacy for people living with

HIV AIDS.

 

In India, AHF under its aegis initiated a Trust – India Cares as its

implementing arm for ART treatment programs. AHF India Cares began its work

providing ART drugs and treatment services since 2004. In New Delhi ‘Center of

Excellence’ dedicated in March 2007 tapped the skills and experience of HIV

specialists, healthcare providers working in tandem and provide ‘Free’ HIV

medical care and support services.

 

We admire the leadership of all our partners who are coordinating local NGOs and

their partners in observing World AIDS Day 2008.

This would be an opportunity to connect and network with you and your esteemed

organization for our Global HIV Testing Campaign which has begun in the month of

November and more partners are likely to join in the last week of November to

support and endorse the global advocacy call for 1 Million Tests.
