Hope there is a way to make it so Rob doesn't come up and want to get him. But whether he does or doesn't, the one thing he CANNOT do is take him back to Philly. Robbin will be enrolled in school HERE and will not be going back and forth from Florence to Philly, as I believe Rob *thinks* he will. I must say I am glad they turned around and left, didn't hang around even for a few mins... I didn't even SEE Rob, which is plenty fine by me. Robbin said he is mad at me, I explained that I did what any Mother would do, that I did what I had to do to get him home and protect him. I think he understands pretty well. He said he hates his dad, I said no, honey, don't hate your dad, but just be aware that he does have a dark side and I need to protect you from it, and you need to be aware of it. And when you grow up, you will come to your own conclusions about him. And I'm off to put my chair on "charge" and my brain on "sleep" It has been a very long day. Hi Akiba, Can your son wrap his mind around, 'dark side'? Just wonderingoutloud is all. Rob is mad..but not at you. It is easier for him to bemad at you, but look what HE did? How he fouled up his life! He muston some level hate himself for it...but again, just my humble opinion.You have had a day filled with things that some folks deal with across anentire week! Yes, Robbin does understand the concept of "dark side" Maybe in a largely comic-book sense, but he does. I'd good, got my baby home and working on keeping him here. Yes, Rob has always had intense anger issues, mostly from his childhood. And Yes, I have known for some time that he is misdirecting them at me, and that that stems mostly from guilt. That is something that neither Rob nor Robbin is mature enough to understand, but I do, and I know n agrees with my assessment of the situation, and you have now joined the club, Dearest Kate... I just took some magnesium, that will help me sleep...not that I think I'll have ANY problem there, not tonight...not with my sweet baby bear sleeping in the next room, finally!
