Dear Forum members

I raise a question to NACO on why financial discrimination between TI Project

salaries consolidated and Drop-in-centre salary, along with Community care

centre and  tele counseling hot line 1097 project employee.

In NACP-III NACO has increase salaries of all the SACS Staff and  others TI

Project workers like a counselor of TI project get Consolidated Rs.6500 per

month but the counselor of Drop-in-Centre get only Rs.5000 per month. I asked

from all of you how survive in city who suffering from HIV/AIDS and worked in

project.

The cost of life living necessary things is much costly past few years, but

salary of ground level staff is very cut down by the designer of financial

management of NACO. The peers educators are also get only Rs.1500 till date, how

you expect from best performance from these employee.

Most of staff is working, as peer educators are member of HRG groups and

PLHAs.These all projects are counseling based and care & support program but

unfortunately I say again who responsible for this kindly look this matter

immediately before end of financial year 2008.
