Guest guest Posted November 2, 2002 Report Share Posted November 2, 2002 Hi Girls, I am new in the group. I have had 2 miscarriages and 1 ectopic (tubes are in tact) pregnancy. I was diadnosed with a septate uterus 1.5 years ago. ob/gyn told me that it wasn't necessarily the cause of my miscarriages. After my ectopic last year, he told me to try to get pregnant and come back. Went to see him last week and went for an u/s and sono again. They confirmed the septate was there. I am 26 years old and have been trying to get pregnant. I am having a hard time doing so. Ob/gyn didn't tell me surgery was an option. I have read that septums can cause miscarriages. I was even considering IVF but if I have a septum there's a good chance the fetus won't survive. I don't know what to do next. I have an appt. on Nov. 11. What steps should I take next. I am desperately wanting childern and will do anything to carry a baby to term. Does anyone have any advise for me. Are there any success stories out there.
