I think the reason that they tell you not to drink distilled water is that

you don't get the minerals that you normally get in natural water. I use a

carbon filter pitcher plus distilled water. From all the junk in my

distiller after making a few gallons, I don't care what minerals I am

missing by drinking distilled water! I'd like to know what the oily stuff

is.
