ART and ICTC Counselor job vacancy Neglected the PLHAs in Tamilnadu-

Greetings from Ramesh PLHA,

We would like bring some issues related to the selection of counsellors in ICTC

in Chennai for your kind attention

Mrs.Supriya saghu,Ex TANASAC PD, implemented some order. Accordingly, if the

vacancies for ART counsellor, ICTC Counselor, the preference should be given

to PLHAs.

The eligibility was the PLHAs to complete any degree as the basic qualification.

If they have the capability, the Selection committee selected the PLHAs for ART

Counsellor

But Now this policy is is totally changed. the Selection committee (JD health,

Dean, and DD health) neglected the PLHAs resume and could not give any response

for their application

The political parties interfere the staff selection and get bribe from the

Ineligible candidates. Due to this many PLHAs ae under great depression.

For example, on 30.01.2009 the ART Counsellor Interview was held in Erode. For

this Job 4 PLHAs applied for ART Counsellor vacancy.

But, they did not get any interview card or any response. It seems, superintend

and Deputy director of Health service both of them misused their position and

received bribe from the candidates, they invited their relatives or

inexperienced candidates.

So we Kindly request you to take further action for this and also, consider our

request to get the job of ART Counsellor and ICTC Counsellor for the PLHAS.

Please publish this news that means avoid corruption and give the preference for

the PLHAs, through AIDS INDIA Forum.
