Guest guest
I and my fellow beings at INP+ regret and feel isolated on the demise of Shri. RAMESH VENKATRAMAN, one of our mentors and guides. Mr. Ramesh Venkataraman passed away on Saturday, the 31 January, 2009. As an eloquent communicator, he had been very forceful and instrumental for our increased visibility in the initial years. Through his effective skills in public speaking, he guided INP+ in making great strides in advocacy measures particularly on treatment related issues. His energy and dynamism were evident in everything he did in seeking out every platform to highlight the needs and rights of the PLHIV and their families. My acquaintance with him had been a great memorable occasions and I took it as a great compliment when he referred me as Verghese Kurien, the milk man(Amul) of India in the context of making and forming networks and federations. His gorgeous voice still hovers around me. His demise is a personal loss to me. In this hour of sorrow, we all, at INP+ share the grievance of his family and friends and pray for his soul rest in peace.
