Guest guest
Dear Forum, This is to report some of the very bad experiance I had with the the Rajan Babu TB Hospital (RBTB) Delhi. 1) first week of December i was visited officialy in Rajan Babu TB Hosp. There i meet o Dr.Anil Choudhary Nodal Officer (ICTC) i give him my reffrence. After talking Dr. tod me that I should not come again to his Hospital without his permission as I am an AIDS patient. Some HIV+ patients of this hospital help me & tell me the facts & problems in this Hospital. 2)NO Confidentialty in wards for HIV+ patients. 3)i have 17 HIV/TB diagnose cases list of November 08 month. Details are- four cases are expire in ward without reffer to ART Center. Three cases are go there home without inform to ward staff because ward staff break their confidentialty. Four cases are out of Delhi but Dr. Anil Choudhary did not reffer them to the ART Centers. In the ICTC register mostly all HIV/TB patients addresses & contact numbers are incomplete. There is nO benches in the hosptial for the patients to sit, there is no drinking Water, no toilets, NO PPTCT, NO Condom Box, and Very dirty wards. 4)One case name Krun(Name Change)amit on bed no-706 Ward -14 HIV+ & TB problem Dr.Anil Choudhary & there Coulleges are throw-out him & luggage out of ward without complete treatment. I do not now why the Drs do not reffer to him ART Center ? After my humble request Dr.Anil not re-admit to him. Krun is a poor man & he was purchase ourself DOTS medicines from chemist shop. 5)Dr.Anil Choudhary did not reffer the amited cases of HIV/TB patients properly to ART Center for Registration,CD-4 testing,Lipid profile,X-ray etc. 6)ICTC counsellors are untrained they have no training/knowledge about HIV/TB & about ART Treatment, no follow-up, no Home visit, no refferal of the cases to the NGO's, positive Networks or ART Centers And no follo up action against defaulter cases. 7)In the Genaral OPD of Rajanbabu TB Hospital Rs 5. is charged from every patient for OPD card & Ward admit TB patients are also pay Rs 10 per-day for treatment. 8)So many DOTS admit patients of this hospital are self afford all medicines from private chemist shops. 9)MDR & XDR treatment is also not available in all TB hospitals. Any suggestions from the readers of this FORUM on what to do with this situation.
