Guest guest
I don't know how uniform this process is, but I use the AccuChek Advantage with VoiceMate. There are two control solutions you are supposed to use with each new bottle of strips. This solution is not supposed to be used 30 days after it is opened. Well, I don't have any fresh solution, so I went ahead and did the control testing with a new bottle of strips anyway. I should note the strips are the same lot number as what I have been using and had verified with fresh solution. It tests for the lower range and upper. The lower range was good, but the upper was out of range. My question is what will this mean to any BS results? It would seem like it should only effect higher readings and still be accurate with the lower ones. Is that the case? Thanks!
