Hello - for what it's worth, I was about to purchase InTouch software for the

practice I was going to open in 2008.  The practice opening fell apart for me,

but a very good friend of mine opened a clinic a year ago and I suggested he use

InTouch.  He is thrilled with them.  I just spoke with him last night about it

actually.  Billing, documentation, the whole deal...for what that's worth.

I would love to hear from someone who is using the InTouch on-line software

for billing, documentation and appointments.

We are current PTOS users and I love PTOS, but to get on board with the new

version of their billing software, their documentation software and

scheduling software would cost us over $8,000. Of course, we'd have to

invest in new hardware, too, with networking. We're a tiny private practice

with only 2 PTs. With the insurance cuts, the cost is prohibitive. The

above price takes into account a 50% discount on the billing software, if we

make the decision to purchase by March 1.

You can reply directly to: mt_eden_pt@... Please put inTouch in

the subject line.

Thanks for your feedback.

Dan, thanks for your feedback. The price is certainly right. You wouldn’t

share your friend’s name with me, would you?

I’d love to just shoot a couple of questions his way about support, ease of

use, etc.

Again, thanks.

Another one you might look into is WebPT. www.WebPT.com. The contact is Matt

Wolach. They, to my knowledge, do not have the billing component. Great

product at very reasonable price/month. Web based. Very user friendly.

PTOS will give you their billing software for free if you use Sammons/

as your electronic clearing house for two years. That's what we did.
