Guest guest
Hi Jen, We are working on getting the Prodigy meter to Canada. You can thank all the regulations and the bilingualism for the delays. If you are interested you can get it covered at the end of the year by income tax or by Sun Life insurance if you want it now. As for the strips, the problem would be the chemical reagent in the strips which cannot wait until the strip is totally full. ruth From: blind-diabetics [mailto:blind-diabetics ] On Behalf Of Jesso Sent: Tuesday, April 01, 2008 10:53 AM To: blind-diabetics Subject: [PHISHING]: Re: RE: Question and Suggestion ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- ----------------------- Panda Antivirus 2007 has detected that this email could be spoofed Take maximum precautions, as spoofed emails could be the sign of a fraud attempt. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- ----------------------- I've never used the Prodigy, but if it's like all the modern meters that don't talk, it won't start counting down until there is enough blood. All the meters I've used in recent years will time out or give an error message if it does not detect enough blood. It seems that they should make talking meters do the same, especially since people can't see if there's enough blood on teh strip.
