Guest guest
I have two questions a nursing home therapy director asked me regarding treating Medicare patients and the general outpt orthopaedic population: 1. Can a Part A and Part B Medicare pt be in a pool at the same time in a nursing home environment? 2. Can a Part A and a general outpt orthopaedic pt (say a 30 y/o, BC/BS paying knee pain pt) be in a pool together at the same time in a nursing home environment? I run an outpt orthopaedic clinic and know only outpt rules and regs. I would like to help this nursing home director and give her some solid answers regarding these questions. She wants to expand their therapeutic services and open their pool to the community at large. Thanks in advance, Hankins, PT Synergy Therapies, LLC www.synergytherapiesofkc.com
