Guest guest
Nat- We have had 2 of the Game Ready units for 7+ years and have had great results and reimbursement with them. Mcare is reimbursing aroun $12-13 per use. Our initial ROI was less than a year. You will have to periodically update the wraps ( q 4 years) due to velcro wearing out. FYI- check with other vendors for the Game Ready. Sammons preston often will have higher prices Gwilliam, PT, CWS Dir. of Rehab Bowie Memorial Hospital > > Hello all > > We are a hospital based outpatient clinic. Guest guest
We also use the Game Ready system in our outpatient clinics and bill under " vasopneumatic compression " . This system provides cold along with vasopneumatic compression and is useful for reducing swelling/edema in a joint. It works well in this regard and patients love it. Be aware that Insurance companies will deny the charges if there is no documentation identifying the presence of swelling/edema by circumferential or volumetric measurements for each session it is used.
