Guest guest
Yep, military. And I would like to say that it is really nice not to have to get the hoover out every night, because a child has decided to destroy some polystyrene. It is still sitting in my living room for later. And why is it my DH has 'projects'. so cutting the grass is a project, cleaning out a cupboard (which then looks like it has been ransacked) is a project, painting the fence is a project and so on. Me I just get on and do it! BTW I haven't had a weekend for 8 years now. as DH works shifts, every day is the same. It is nice to have him at home during the week, but I do miss my weekends. I have cultivated the Saturday lie in though - by resolutely refusing to get out of bed until 9pm!!! Sue H. Pete & Lesley Reader wrote: > Why are you not allowed to say, Sue? Immediately Grae decided to decorate the spare room. We had someone in to do a skim, he's washed and filled and washed and sanded and washed and....... vacuumed and put on one and a half walls of emulsion. One coat only so far And ground to a halt. No some people might say I should do it - and I might if he hadn't been so determined he was going to! -- Sue W, in disguise!

Guest guest
Welcome Kathy, Congratulations on your weight loss so far. You are doing a great job. Keep it up. You will love this group. I joined WW in March of this year and I just got to my goal weight a couple of weeks ago (lost 58 pounds). I am a lifetime member from 1985 so I am not having to do the 6 weeks of maintenance, but I am doing it on my own anyway and I am still weighing in every week. It is making me more accountable. I think your goals sound very realistic. I don't know about your church, but our church (where I also work as an administrative assistant to the Children's Communtiy) we have functions that have food involved all the time. Especially here at work, someone is always bringing in something delicious. I have had to learn to keep my own on program snacks at my desk. So far I have lost 59 pounds and I feel great. Keep losing and you will reach your goal. in Colorado Introduction Hello! My name is Kathy Willis and I've been on the Weight Watcher's plan for eight weeks. I've lost 17.6 pounds. I took two weeks off during that eight weeks for vacation, so I feel good about what I've lost so far. I'm doing the Winning Points system and attending weekly meetings at our church (I am a pastor's wife). I'm age 38 (will be 39 in December). My desire is to be at goal and maintenance by my 40th birthday. I need to lose 40-50 more pounds. I gained all of my weight from having a chronic illness that causes me to be inactive, for my metabolism to slow down, and from side effects of medications. It is taking a lot of discipline and exercise to get the weight off, but it is worth it! I was skinny growing up and for the first few years of marriage, so being obese is not something I am used to! My goal is to be in a size 16 by my birthday, a size 14 by my husband's birthday, and a size 12 by April Fool's. From there I will decide if I want to try for a size 10 or not. Some of you are setting Christmas weight loss goals. I hope to lose at 15 more pounds by then. I'll let you know how it goes. I enjoy reading the recipes and the success stories! Guest guest
Hello. I wanted to introduce myself to all of you. My name is and I am 38 years young and I live in Washington state with my husband, and 2 boys ages 5 and 8. I work at home doing Child Care and so I can set my own hours so as to be with my own as much as possible. I am looking into joining WW but haven't done that yet. I am still in the looking process. Any advice from anyone? I see you can go to meetings or work at it at home. What is everyone doing? So what do you all talk about on this list? I just want to be a part so please tell me. ____________________________________________________ IncrediMail - Email has finally evolved - Click Here

Guest guest
Welcome, ! I just joined here yesterday but I like what I've seen so far. I'm doing WW going to weekly meetings. The main office is between where I work and where I live (I have a 17 mile commute every day), so I stop in on Thursday nights for weigh-in and the first after-work meeting so I can get home at a pseudo-respectable hour. Whether you go to meetings, do the at-home program, or the on-line WW program, make sure you build yourself a support system. Groups like this one are very good (I'm also in another one of these groups and have been for a couple weeks - I've been better at staying on-program (OP) since joining that group). Whoever said " no (wo)man is an island " wasn't kidding. I'm still trying to learn that lesson myself, but I'm doing a lot better since changing meeting days and leaders (the leader I have now owns the WW franchise here so, until she retires, she's not leaving). Glad you found this board. I know none of us can tell you what program you should follow however, having been on almost all of them - including many rounds of WW in the past, before they came up with the Points system - the 'new' Winning Points program is the most balanced, sensible, and do-able program that's out there. And it's truly not a diet, it's a lifestyle change. WW provides and teaches you the tools you need to succeed at choosing to make these changes. Good luck with whatever program you decide upon. Hope to hear from you soon. (nbc)

I absolutely love the recipes here. The only thing I need is to know the nutritional stats on the food so I can calculate the actual percentage of fat in each serving. I have to keep mine below 30. Keep the recipes coming everyone, they are wonderful! {{{Sarika}}}
