Guest guest
Wendi, Please do let me know. Clay has only nursed once today so far. I do think he is weaning. He has also decided that he likes to sleep in his crib. He was so thrashy while sleeping with us, I put him in his crib (mostly out of frustration). Well, he slept and slept and slept in that crib. For the first time since his birth the other night, I slept all night long too! That was nice. I will continue nursing him until he is done, my thrush is clearing us which also has helped. - Jake 3-11-94 & Clay 10-22-

Guest guest
, We have a queen bed with a twin sidecar. I move down and nurse him then back to the queen. He sleeps great like that. He doesn't sleep well with us though. You might want to start asking him if he wants to nurse. That's what I've been doing because I'm not ready to wean. It's been helping. He's nursed a lot today. He gets really excited when I ask him to nurse. Anyway I am going to try fenugreek I just haven't gotten it yet. Wendi Re: Introduction From: Mparker90@... Wendi, Please do let me know. Guest guest
Wendi and everyone! With the thrush I had not been too keen on the nursing since it hurt terribly. We are resolving that and I am so glad. I think that is a good idea to ask him if he wants to nurse. I have to remember to do that. Sometimes the day passes along and I finally remember...hey he hasn't nursed in several hours. I think my milk supply is dwindling severely now. I am anxious to hear how the herbs work for you. I tried them in the beginning too and I don't know if I should go back to them??? Amy swears by fennel I know. I am just trying to follow his lead. If he is ready to wean, I will be okay with it...I guess! I feel torn between trying to get my supply back up or not if he is actually weaning. HELP! - Jake 3-11-94 & Clay 10-22-

If he decited to ween (Like I said he's no where near close so maybe if he was I would feel differntly hehe) Iwill be glad I was able to have this bond with him for as long as I did and just look foward to nursing the next and all our fond memorys of it. Guest guest
, I really think that you need to decide if you want to keep nursing. Children go through natural weaning cycles and he might wean if you just let it go. If you really didn't want to wean you might be sad if he weans. But if you are ready to wean just see what happens. I just got back from the store with the fenugreek and will be starting today. I really am not ready to wean him so I am taking action to make sure it doesn't happen. I'll let you know how the herbs go. Thanks for all the advice. So far I am loving being on this list. Everyone is so helpful and supportive. Wendi Re: Introduction From: Mparker90@... Guest guest
Amy, Thanks for remembering about the pictures. I have been lazy and haven't had them put on disc or anything to show you all. However, my dh just got us a scanner so be looking for them within the next couple of days. I work all day tomorrow, so perhaps Tuesday?? Clay has nursed 3 times today already...maybe not weaning?? I keep following his cues though. We'll see.
