I have joined the Ashermans group. I am being told that since I still have a normal period every month that this must mean my adhesions are mild. I am waiting to get a second opinion first. I don't get to decide who provides me with care here in Ontario, Canada. I get a referral and my current OB/GYN decides to whom that shall be. If I'm not happy with his referral I'm not sure what my options are. I have been wondering, since a metroplasty is cutting tissue and reshaping the uterus would this procedure not apply to me now even though my septum was removed? Can you please tell me more about what is done with a metroplasty.
