Hi Alice ,

We just had this post on our Hand Therapy site and the answer was mixed. One OT

used an exercise code as she was trying to stretch a position. I usually talk

with the insurance company up front and request prior approval for an L code,

either multiple billings or an estimated one time charge

What CPT code are people using for serial casting? If so, is this a one

time charge or can you repeatedly charge it for cast chages?

Thanks,

Alice

Thanks Rick!

Are those codes typically reimbursed?
