goes around singing to herself " wee wee on the potty potty " and then

she'll said gotta go wee wee so I'll put her on the potty - nothing. She'll

say it again - nothing. Of course the one time I don't she'll pee. Sigh.

Bad mommy - but how was I to know she really meant it this time :)

I told her if she went she could wear the Barney underwear. So far so good

:) I am also using Amy's pecs idea. I'll going to give her until her

birthday and if she isn't trained during her 3 week break I'm going to do the

Autism Center thing.

Thanks for sending that Amy!

Hi, ,

We did all the things they say to do (but nothing too radical) with my son from

when he was 2 1/2 until he was 4. We had partial success, but he was still in

pullups at 4. Sometime around 4 yrs & 3 months, we started bribing him with

chocolate chips. (Which everyone says not to do.) Every time he used the potty

he got a chip. That made the connection for him and soon he forgot about the

chips.

Good luck! It'll happen.

What has helped your kids become more aware of when they have to go and more

self motivated to go on the potty?
