Guest guest Posted March 7, 2011 Report Share Posted March 7, 2011 Group: In reviewing our OP billing from January we are noticing that Medicare is billing the patient 20% of the initial allowable charges but reimbursing facilities under the MPPR rules. How are we to bill the patients at our OP facility? We have been billing 20% of the MPPR guidelines. I think we are under billing. Thank you in advance for your assistance. Pamela J.
