Suggestions to reduce stigma and discrimination

Dear FORUM,

There are good suggestions to prevent and control HIV Stigma and

Discrimination. But this is only not enough to prevent these things.

I would more things in mind

1. Not only campaigning with college and school going students but it

should establishment of Condom Depot Holder at the college level.

2. People don't have enough information about HIV/AIDS so we should

concentrate on giving information on HIV

3. Work on BCC and then go to stigma and discrimination because I

believe that people have stigma and discrimination due to lack of

information and knowledge.

4. Need to concentrate on house to house contact to generate awareness

about the HIV Stigma especially at slums.

5. I think People are not coming for HIV Testing because they are not

aware about the consequenses of the problem. And also they don't have

sufficient information about the importance of the testing.
