They have one for heavy metals and one for > amalgam detox (homeopathic solutions sold in health food stores). Homeopathic remedies specifically labeled for or intended for heavy metal detoxification should never be used. They increase neurological symptoms - and autism is primarily neurological. Guest guest
Andy, Why is this? Is it because supplements are not regulated? Aren't most items used in the normal way OTC? I thought homeopathy is supposed to be safer and better on the system. I am quite hesitant to try it the " normal " way as many are regressing (neurogically) and are having horrible times with it. Isn't this the same result then? I just want to find a safe way to detox my son. What can we do? There is so much unknown. Suggestions are welcome. > > Are these ok to try? Guest guest
Hello , I hope you will excuse me for answering since I am not Andy. > Why is this? I believe it is because Andy has too many reports of negative results/effects from it. > Is it because supplements are not regulated? no, this is not why. > Aren't most items used in the normal way OTC? I thought homeopathy is > supposed to be safer and better on the system. Andy thinks homeopathy is generally fine but NOT fine for metal detox. Again, I believe this is based on results. > I am quite hesitant to try it the > " normal " way as many are regressing (neurogically) and are having horrible > times with it. You know of " many " who are regressing neurologically? This is very interesting. You must be reading a different list than I am?? best wishes, Moria > > Homeopathic remedies specifically labeled for or intended for heavy > > metal detoxification should never be used. Guest guest
> Andy, > Why is this? Is it because supplements are not regulated? No. Regulation has nothing to do with it. Supplements would be much MORE dangerous if regulated - consider how dangerous Rx drugs are, and then pinch yourself and remember that over 80% of them would qualify as nutritional supplements if they hadn't been registered as a drug with the FDA prior to October 1994. > Aren't most items used in the normal way OTC? Any method of removing mercury can be dangerous and harmful if you do it wrong. There is nothing magic about using one technique versus another - either it is capable of moving mercury, and thus capable of doing damage if you don't use it properly, or it is not capable of moving mercury and thus not capable of causing any improvement. > > I just want to find a safe way to detox my son. What can we do? Accept the fact that there is no perfectly safe thing you can do. The only way to avoid risk is to do nothing. If you want to help him you have to accept some risk. . . .. . . . . . > There is so > much unknown. Suggestions are welcome.
Guest guest
I just now got to read your response. Is it also dangerous to use their liver detox, bowel discomfort and food additive detox products (not sure if your're familiar w/ingredients)? And - How about these for someone w/mercury and no autism? Lynda > > Are these ok to try?
