The hospital therapists in my region don't even care when the newspaper writes up an article of a ATC and states he showing a patient Physical Therapy exercises. When called on it was told dont be so touchy......... facility has over 30 PTs working and only 5 are APTA members . The department head states their is not need to be a member....... I will be loosing my main clinic in may due to the ortho guys I have worked with for 25 years hire 5 of my therapists away by stating that if they dont come they will get someone else and you will not have any job.
