Please, not only sign the petition but forward it to everyone in your address

book, you parents, your children, your cousins and everybody you know! AASK THEM

TO SIGN IT TOO.

There are more non-PTs in this world than PTs.

The California Medical Association stated: “we have used PTs, nurses, PAs,

etc. as extenders to our services for decades. This is not newâ€.

We are not medicine and they are not physical therapy.

AND we are not ancillary services. We haven’t “fill their prescriptions for

HP, US and massage†for over 20-30 years at least! They are not more educated

in our discipline than we are in theirs.

WE NEED TO EDUCATE EVERYBODY. Its about time.

We are all healthcare providers. That’s all.

It is time to say “NO MOREâ€.

The Petition

" Recognizing the incongruity of POPTS and APTA's/CPTA's Vision 2020 that

embraces the autonomous practice of doctorally prepared professionals, the

inherent conflicts of interest existing within POPTS, the loss of patient's

right to choice of provider, and the increased cost to society identified

resulting from POPTS, the APTA and CPTA have reaffirmed their decades-long

opposition to physician-owned physical therapy services. APTA and CPTA

support legislative and regulatory measures at the state and federal levels

to ban physician ownership of physical therapy services. "
