Hi everyone, hope the sun is shining where you are it has been here today for a change. My doctor called me this morning, and I go to the hospital here next week for infusion therapy 5 days, an hr each day. My question is has anyone heard of celumedrol? Not sure on the spelling of that, but is what I'm getting. Thanks again in advance

Thanks Challis, just finally talked to my brother , he just got back from a medical mission to India I think it was? and he said that was his first round of treatment as well, so hope I will learn more on it, he's pretty tired, long trip home today

Solumedrol. Usually they do somewhere between 3 and 5 days. I am surprised they didn't set it up as homecare infusion; they did that for me one time already. Let us know how it goes, ok, Connie? take care, hugs and blessings, kate

wie gehts connie?it's called solumedrol and is a powerful steroid which is usually given the way you will get it: one hour a day for five days. i've had it several times and it can cause insomnia and hyperactivity for a while. some people have sleeping pills prescribed for the time of the treatment. i can work miracles on stopping your exacerbation or not work much at all. most people in the beginning of the illness respond quite well. let me know how it goes.annetteConnie wrote: Hi everyone, hope the sun is shining where you are it has been here today for a change.
