Guest guest
This is a good reminder. Here in Ohio last week, an 11-year-old boy on a hike with his Boyscout troop died from heat exhaustion and dehydration. Several years ago, I suffered from heat exhaustion at a baseball game. So it's easy for people to forget to keep hydrated. _____ From: blind-diabetics [mailto:blind-diabetics ] On Behalf Of LaFrance-Wolf Sent: Thursday, June 26, 2008 11:37 AM To: Blind-DiabeticsYahoogroups (DOT) Com; Acb-DiabeticsAcb (DOT) Org Subject: dehydration My husband and I went to a camp for blind adults last week in Napa Valley, CA. Guest guest
Hi Pat, Another good thing for people to remember is that if you don't drink enough water and become dehydrated you can have a stroke because the blood becomes thick and sluggish and can clot easier. We as diabetics are more prone to strokes to begin with. That's what happened to me. So, everyone, Drink your water!
