Very nice to meet you guys. Let me see if I can remember which

questions I'm responding to....First of all, I believe I've had the

Lupus for 10-15 years. The Myositis (Poly) started just a few years

ago...at least as far as I can figure. I have an unusual case of

Lupus in which my ANA is negative. My anti-sm is always positive

however (been checked many, many times). That test is specific for

Lupus. The myositis was confirmed with elevated cpk and muscle

biopsy, along with EMG. I recently started taking Imuran and cannot

take prednisone because I have an adverse reaction to it. I've been

told I also have fibromyalgia but my rheumy doesn't care since they

don't treat it.
