I don't know if any of you followed the link that beckoned " 20 WORST

FOODS " on the yahoo.com homepage, but my reccomendation is to either

skip it or laugh at it.

I just checked it out and guess what- apparently I'm a pig. For one,

my favorite dessert from Chili's is on there (the paradise pie with

vanilla ice cream). Apparently it clocks in at 1,600 calories per

serving. I ate a whole slice last week and I'm feeling rather proud

of that accomplishment now. Might as well accept the fact I have a

sweet tooth, right? I also enjoy the " Number One Worst Food in

America " which is the bacon and cheese fries at Outback Steakhouse.

Love those too. Don't really care they made the list. I'm healthy

and I'm not hugely overweight, if anything I'm about 20 pounds heavier

than I should be. I have a lot of muscle and I'm happy with myself

and my life. I like to exercise and I have a wonderful social life.

I guess my real question is WHY does the media feel the need to look

at these abstract numbers and label the food as " bad " or " evil " ?

There are a lot of more important things to look at in the world than

a slice of pie or fries. Ridiculous. enjoy your food and live your

life.
