Guest guest
Hi harry, I wouldn't wait. Seek help immediately! I would agree you could be headed for a stroke. There might be a clot. Make sure you drink lots of water to be well hydrated. I had a stroke and I can assure you it's no fun. Get help right away my friend! For the past two or three days I have awakened with a headache in the temples and behind the eyes. This morning my wife suggested that I take my blood pressure, so I complied. Man!, was Isurprised. It seems I was headed somewhere to have a stroke. At 9:30 AM my bp was 172/83 with a pulse of 88. So I immediately did a nitrogen oxide therapy by drinking around five ounces of protein crystals purchased from a health food store. I waited around 35 minutes and took my bp again at 10:05AM and it was 159/77 with a pulse of 90 .. So I did another nitrogen therapy treatment and waited an hour this time. At 11:10AM my bs was 160/83 with a pulse of 82. When I see my doctor next week, I believe I had better inform him of what happened. It appears I may have to go on blood pressure medicine like an ace inhibitor.
Guest guest
I have already had two minor strokes, so I did not mess around, so I went to an emergency clinic, a private doctor's office. When I got there he took my blood pressure over my sleeve, and it read . 135/70. Since when I lean over or lower my head down low, he diagnosed me as having a sinus infection. He prescribed a sinus pill and an antibiotic When I got home I took my bp again and it was 172/85. I do not believe my blood pressure machine is out of order, since it gives my wife correct readings. So I took a saline nasal spray and an ibuprofen. The headache is still there, but it seems to be slowly going away. Do you wake up with headaches? Guest guest
Hi Harry, Glad to hear it. Sinus infections can be hell. I've had many. Try a warm cloth over your face or steaming yourself. This usually gives me relief. Take care. Guest guest
Harry, sinus infections are really nasty and painful, I hope you feel better soon. Why did the doc take your bp over your sleeve? Is that suppposed to make a difference, I always have mine done on a bare arm. Anyway, I hope you feel better soon and that the pain eases. Hugs, Maggie.
