If doing in preparation prior to therapeutic exercises or neuromuscular

re-education techniques, the time required for the kinesiotaping would be part

of that code. If doing at the conclusion of TX to support a joint due to a FX,

dislocation, sprain, strain, etc., I would tell you to choose the appropriate

CPT code for strapping located in the 29200-29280 for the U/E and back and

29520-29550 for the L/E.

Â

For those PT's who apply kinesiotaping, what CPT code is appropriate to

use?Â

Thank you for any information.
