We see them in their rooms except for the use of a small gym where we teach

stair training. We shoot for BID treatment since their LOS's are so short.

For those of you who have total joint replacement surgeries at your

hospital, do you complete treatment in a department- or unit-based gym

space or in the patient's rooms? daily or twice daily treatment?

Initial assessments done in patient's room, no access in acute floors to a

" gym " , treatment from then on are BID
