Avg # sessions per Diagnosis, Outpatient

Anyone have access to--or know where I could get--the customary # of outpt PT

visits (avg, range, deviations) needed during a PT POC by diagnosis? Yes, I

know there is variability among therapists, patient presentations, etc., but

still there should be a statistical tendency. I am sure the insurance companies

have this or maybe even Medicare (skewed by age, perhaps). Even at this,

limitations of insurance authorizations may 'hurry up' the discharge, so these

sources might not be pure clinical representations. Can anyone lead me to this

info? Respectfully, not looking for editorials.
