Guest guest
You deserve a lot of credit for being able to forgive and stay with him. I couldn't get over it when my ex cheated. But, then again he was never sorry and never changed his ways. I remember how hurt I was. I actually prayed that God would let me die. I'm sooo glad I got through that. It's good to be me now. I am blessed beyond my comprehension. I hope your DH realizes EVERY day how special you are and how lucky he is to have you. My ex has been trying to talk about old memories with me. Bringing up the poem he proposed to me with, and our song. Too little, too late. He's lucky I didn't hunt him down when my son told me he was abused. He'd have been on the fast track to meeting his maker! Enjoy every minute with your DH. We never know what tomorrow brings. When I really thought it was over because of the husband stealing tramp, I sunk very deep. I kept telling myself that I would never find a man that would want to love this sick ugly person. I blamed myself for so much. I told myself that I was alone because I didn't take care of . I was low. At the time my best friend who lives in KY couldn't help. Her fiance' and just broken it off with her 3 months earlier after 5 years! I think it is possible that she was worse off than me. She hit the drugs and I hit the bottle. We cried each other to sleep over the phone every night. It was the most horrible time of my life. My Dx didn't even come close to how low I felt. Well, DH saw that what he had done was so wrong. He felt so shamed. I saw him sink lower than I did when he came to realize that I was the only one that had ever given him what he really needed instead of what he thought he needed. Long story short, we love each other so much. We now appreciate each other and communication between us is so much better. I've always thought him to be my soul mate. He completes me. That part of life is good.Trista <tabeloe37> wrote: My DH is an awesome father. He became an instant dad. We've never not had kids in our relationship. The other day my 11 yr old (autistic) son got a call from my aunt. She asked him who he was, and he said without missing a beat that he was Baylee A. It was the sweetest thing. No one told him to say that, so it made DH very proud. DH has been sent to us by God. We are all blessed. We see the judge the 29th, so I'm not sure how long after that we get a date to go in for the judgement. This is all very important to me, especially being sick. I want to KNOW that if anything happens to me, my boys will be with their REAL dad, who loves them. I appreciate your prayers. There is always something good to brighten the bleakest of hours. I know your DH is proud to be a daddy! Although, I'm sure he has always felt that he was anyway! but to make it legal, that is something to be proud of!Trista <tabeloe37> wrote: Thank you Akiba. We go to the courthouse tomorrow to see the social worker who writes the report to recommend that DH be allowed to adopt our 2 older boys. My ex has decided to go there tomorrow after our appt. to sign off his parental rights. We haven't seen him since 1999. My oldest son has accused him of molestation, so it's very important to us to sever him from us for good. (my son was almost 6 when he told us. He'll be 15 this summer. The ex still denies it. So, if you will all remember us tomorrow, I would appreciate it. I'm worried he might flake out on us. He is not stable. Akiba wrote: Sorry you're so stressed, sending you calm, mellow thoughts...
