Guest guest
Yes, - I'm also in Illinois and we learned in training to charge the multiples as you state. So far, it seems to be working... Deering PT Wound Clinic Coordinator Norwegian American Hospital " I am just requesting some clarification on the changes in the wound debridement codes. Are we able to charge multiples of CPT 97598 (add't 20 cm). For example if we see a wound size of 60 sq. cm are we able to charge CPT 97597 and 2 of CPT 97598? Thanks. Guest guest
We too are charging the multiples, and so far have had no issues with reimbursement. Is anyone still billing the CPT code 97602 " non-selective debridement and wound care " and still being reimbursed by Medicare? We have gotten 2 different answers as to whether Medicare will reimburse for this CPT code now. Any input would be greatly appreciated.
