I tried Marty on stage two baby food and I actually got him to

open his mouth. Only once or twice. But a lot better then before. I

think maybe the stage ones are too bland or something.

Hi , how are you? Welcome to the group. I am a SAHM, my son is 5 months

old. He is my first and I just want to hug him all day long, but after awhile

my arms get sore so I let him play with his gym, which he loves.

I know what you mean. I live near a HUGE military area. So the population

here is very large. Not many good jobs here. All the jobs require years of

experience with a degree in the specific field and once you get a job it

doesn't pay very well. Back home you could get a really nice job that pays a

lot. I am only 19 so no degree or much experiecne. I had a great job as an

accounant assistant back home. Then I got married and moved to VA were there

is no hope for anything other than Mc s. So I stay home with the baby,

not that I mind at all. But I am looking for a work @ home job. I have found

some useful links that might help anyone.

Actual Work from Home &

Telecommute Jobs - has some great links

Homework Employment - they

are updating this page, but it is classifieds for real work at home jobs

Hope this helps someone.

Hi All! I'm , WAHM to - born Sept 3, 1997. He was breastfed until

I got pregnant with #2 -- Ben born on New Years Day 99! I am exclsuively

breastfeeding him and am loving it. He doesn't like the bottle (expressed

milk) so I'm even getting more comfortable with nursing in public! (that was

a big thing with KEvin).

Looking forward to " meeting " you all!

I'm a desktop designer. I had planned on not working at all until April but

they called this mornign and are FedEx-ing a job. I design book interiors

and maps for a travel book publisher. I LOVE it. I can not imagine not being

at home with my boys (this is not a DIG at working moms). IF I were to pay

for daycare for two in Connecticut - I would be paying almost all of my

salary! So being at home is more economical for me. If I can help with

suggestions for things you can do -- feel free to ask!

:-)

- there's a lot out there though. Go to the library (in all that

spare time) and check out the home-based business books. You might find

something you CAN do.

Hello,

My name is ....I'm 39. I have a Son who will be 2 in March..he's still

nursing. I also have 2 Daughter's one is almost 20 and the other one just

turned 16....

I work out of my home doing patient and insurance billing for my Husband's

chiropractic office.

I joined a few email stationery onelist groups and then did some searching

on the topic of nursing.

I look very forward to sharing with this group.

Thank you!! I really love her name too. :) of course! Kiva Zaneta... I

agree that 8 mo is fun. She can crawl, stand up, reach for me, say mama,

and understand a lot, but is young enough to sleep in my arms and cuddle a

lot! I have to tell you all something really cute she does... When she is

nursing, I will ask her if she is done, when she pulls off. If she is, she

will sit up, if not, she will grab and try to latch back on by herself. Or

she will reach for the other side if it is the first side she is done with!

She is sooo smart!! :)

My little guy pats my breasts and says milk milk!

That's what I'll miss when he weans himself.

LOL!!!

How has it been for you having the child after so many years in between? For me

it has

been a big adjustment but the older kids help me alot, I guess your daughters

must be a big

help, heck they are old enough to babysit too!!

Hope to chat again,

Welcome!

I love hearing all these cute stories. My guy almost 16 mo. now has started

saying yum yum when he gets his first taste of milk. He asks for it by name

teetee.(titty) A note about the weight of babies. They are all so unique that

is what is most amazing about babies. My daughter (7yo) weighed 17lbs. at a

year. My son weighed that at about 4 1/2 months he is now close to 29lbs. my

daughter weighed that when she was 3 1/2 years. My dd was 6'4 " at birth and my

son weighed 7'12 " . You just never can tell what they will do or how they will

turn out. My daughter is now taller than everyone we know around her age.

Anyway welcome we are glad to have you!

Wendi

Hello !

My birthday is in October...Halloween, LOL! (40)

was a surprise....even though I wanted him for 6 or more years.

It's great having him at an older age. I have my priorities in better order

:o)

I loved being pregnant....I miss it !

I had at home with 2 Licensed, certified Midwives...that too was

wonderful.

Very very long but wonderful....36 hrs. plus he was my largest at almost 10

lbs. ....9 lbs. 12 oz.

My Daughters are great. My oldest Destiny works in a Daycare (for one of my

friends) and Chelsea is still in high school 10th grade.

I look so forward to this list ! I wish that I would have found it sooner

:o)
