Welcome to the list. I am jenn SAHM to Paige who is just about two months

old too:) there is lots of great info spread around this list.. hope you

like it as much as i do:)

As far as feeding from one side only at a time.. that is what paige has

done all this time (until now).... she eats every 2 1/2 to 3 hours at night

and anywhere from 1-2 hours in the daytime. Now within the past couple of

days .. she has been taking both sides at one or two of the feedings.. and

last night in the middle of the night was the very first time she took both

in the nighttime. this hasn't changed the frequency of her feedings

though.. she doesn't go any longer till next feeding than normal when she

has both. She is also GROWING really fast right now.. right before my

eyes. Hope this helps:)

I had to add something to this!! I have what I call the " super boob "

(left) and the " other boob " (right). it has been this way since day one.

the super boob produces much more milk than the regular boob... no matter

what... it got milk a day before the other one did too! In the middle of

the night I make sure paige gets the super boob because it comes out much

faster and she is forced to eat more.. whereas she doesn't get as much from

the other one because she is sleepy and doesn't work as hard and is easily

satisfied at night... i can tell by how long she sleeps after the night

feeding.. which one i gave her. I just thought i would share.. i think it

is kinda funny:)

Jenn,

I have the same thing. I always start on the left so the right has a chance to

fill with the first letdown and then I nurse on the right. When he was newborn

sometimes he wouldn't nurse on the right and would scream we called it the

Poison Boob.

I have the same thing. I always start on the left so the right has a chance to

fill with the first letdown and then I nurse on the right. When he was newborn
