Does anyone know where to find regs regarding the documentation of time for

outpatient treatments?

Hi ,

The regs are under the Guidelines for therapists in the IOM Benefit

Coverage Manual, Chap. 15. Section 220.3 E. Treatment Note. This can be

found on CMS website at www.cms.gov/Manuals/IOM/list.asp

You also might want to look at your MACs LCD to see if they identify

anything else.
