Guest guest
Dave, I wonder how many Americans are able to tell the different between the two accents. I have been mistaken many times for an Australian when I've been to the States in the past. It's like Canadians being mistaken for an Americans, and vice versa, and Australians being taken for a New Zealander, where the accents are so close. But to mistake an Australian accent for an English one, would be like waving a red rag to a bull. Rowe Introduction Hello. My name is and have type1 diabetes since I was 7 years old, I am 32 now. Lost my sight on January 26th 1998, which happily is now my wedding anniversary. I lost my sight due to diabetic retinopathy and acute glaucoma and lost my kidney function at the same time. Thankfully, in May 2004, I had a live related kidney transplant from my mum at St 's in Padington, London.I live in Yealmpton near Plymouth in Devon now, since December 2005, but I am from Basildon in Essex and that's where my true home is, suppose it's a case of what you've grown up with and most familiar with is what's close to your heart. Anyway, supposed that's enogh about me for now, and would just like hi to everyone in the group. Cheers, . Windows Live Messenger: paulus_mills@.... Feel free to add me.
