Sue,

We are an outpatient clinic with PT and OT. We have been using PT Advantage

by compulink for a couple of years now and have been pleased with its

ability over this time. It does our documentation, billing, and scheduling.

We also use it to help with compliance as well. It is supposed to integrate

in with an exercise software package, but we have yet to do this portion. I

don't think any one EMR package is perfect and there are some holes in this

program, but overall, we have been very happy with it. It does take quite a

bit of customization to mold the software to your practice, but that is one

of the things that attracted us to the software. We wanted a program that

we could tailor to our practice, but this did take a lot of work when we

first started with the program. The result was us being able to make the

program mold to the way we wanted to practice and kept us from having to

mold to it.

Feel free to email me if you have any questions.

Subject: Electronic Medical Records for Outpatients

We are an OP clinic with physical therapy, occupational therapy,

athletic trainers and speech language pathology looking to invest in an

electronic medical record. We are looking for input from the PT manager

group as to preferences that include scheduling, point of care

documentation, exercise programs, outcomes assessment / meaningful use

data, billing and billing compliance monitoring. Please respond if you

have an EMR you would recommend or would stay clear of in a practice

that is supporting 12 PT's, 4 OT's, 4 SLP's and 4 LAT's. Thank you in

advance.
