Subject: Computer documentation with Soarian

Is there anyone who currently uses the Soarian system for rehabilitation

documentation? This is a system that is used by our nursing department and we

were hoping to have them build an OT/PT/SLP/Casemanagment component. Debbie

We are in the process of going on line with Sorian. Nursing assessment, MAK,

Labs, and a few items are up. We go live with Physician order Entry in June

(this has been a HUGE issue with the MDs). PT OT and Speech started the build

and we were very involved with the plans of care build, but we probably won't go

live until 2012 at this point. POE takes priority. So at this point most daily

notes by all staff still done in paper chart.

Any " pearls " are appreciated. Skip was a great help to me when I was banging my

head on the first go round with our build.
