Guest guest
I live in the Seattle area and I am seriously considering Bariatric Surgery for weight loss. I would love an MGB done laparoscopically, and would probably also opt for pre-emptive gallbladder removal, but I live I live a long way from most of you...does anyone on the list ahve anything to report about Dr. Ross Fox in Tacoma???? He also does WLS, and I'd like to know if anyone here has heard of him. He does an open gastric bypass procedure. I also have a question about juice consumption after surgery... does all the sugar in that fruit juice cause Dumping Syndrome? What quantity of sugar has this effect? Thanks for all your patience. I'm still working up my courage to approach my insurance co. about covering this, and so I'm very early into the process. in Seattle Dills ddills@... Guest guest
-- There's also the Alvarado Center in California that does the Roux N Y laparoscopically. They have a big website. I dont know the URL, but you should be able to find it with a search. I would strongly recommend the lap version. Recovery is much faster and easier. Guest guest
, No the sugar in 100% juice doesn't cause dumping, its natural. Thats why you have to really read the lables to be sure its 100 juice! Dumping is generally caused by sugary foods -- foods with sugar added. Hope this helps, Kathy _________________________________________________________

Guest guest
Hypoglycemia is when you're blood sugar drops increadibly LOW. It's the exact opposite of being diabetic. This I know because I'm hypoglycemic. I never had any sort of " dumping " caused by it though. Maybe I'm just an odd ball. This is all together possible!
