Guest guest
Welcome . My son is almost 6 months also. It is good to hear that you have a lot of support, that is always helpful. What is Australia like? I have always wanted to go there, although I guess it is a silly question. I don't think I could really descibe how the states are. Well I am looking forward to talking with you.

Guest guest
Hi , Right now Australia is hot, being summer. But it is a very large and beautiful country. Lots of open space and beaches. Breastfeeding is very strongly supported and encouraged here in Aus, which I never really appreciated until I started to look at some of the sites, etc on the www. We even get FREE access to Lactation Consultants provided by govern. funding to help if you have a BF problem (amazing to you?). It is also assumed that you will BF your newborn unless you state otherwise. ,(incl. not giving anything to the baby after birth other than BM). Thanks for the welcome Re: I'm new to the list >From: Momofneil@... > >Welcome . My son is almost 6 months also. It is good to hear that you >have a lot of support, that is always helpful. Guest guest
Welcome , I am also new to list! I think it is great that you are receiving so much support with breast feeding. Keep it up no matter how much other people frown on nursing past 6 months there. We all know that it is better for your daughter and better for you to continue if that is what you both choose to do. Looking forward to chatting with you, Kym and Cailyn (11-4-98) who will be breast fed till she decides to wean no matter what other people may think!
