Mike, I would hightly recomend PTOS.  As a previous PT billing manager I loved

it.  PTOS has many reports that you , as the the owner could use  to help run

your business effeciently and it is user friendly from a billing manager

perspective.  They also have other products such as a scheduling system and

document system that work with it so everything can run smoothly.  I can help

you make any contacts needed if you want my help please let me know. PTOS was

designed by physical therapist They also have a

website http://www.ptos.com/Index.aspx.   Also note the practice I worked at

also had multiple locations so PTOS is familiar with that as well.  There are

several ways you can handle that scenerio. Good Luck.

Subject: Billing/Documentation Software

I am new to PT manager, so if this has been talked about previously I

apologize and would appreciate assistance in telling me where to find

info on this topic.

I am an owner of a private practice that has three locations (hopefully

more someday). We currently contract out our billing to an outside

group and are looking to bring billing in-house. What

billing/documentati on/scheduling software have people used and had

success with, especially with trying to integrate three locations into

one system?

Thank you for all of your assistance. I can use your help!!

I bill for several practices and I highly recommend MPMSoft, it does not

have all the bells and whistles of larger programs but it is an efficient

program. Also very affordable, user friendly and they provide timely

customer service. The program has a scheduler and the capability to add a

documentation program if you desire later. They have a website were you can

demo the program for free for 30 days HYPERLINK

" http://www.mpmsoft.com " www.mpmsoft.com. I have used many different programs

for billing and I find that the simpler they are the better. If you need any

information I would be more than happy to help.

There are two things actually, super bills print but are not sequentially

numbered and I cannot post payments in large batches

the later problem will most likely be corrected in the near future as the

capability is there it is just not functioning yet.

Mike,

I have been researching billing and scheduling software. Alot of it

depends on your needs and budget. I have been most impressed with

demos from Raintree, TPS2000, TheraOffice and Systems4PT. I would be

interested in anyones experiences with these companies.

Each has strengths and weaknesses. Cost can be a big factor. For a

very simple program for a small office I liked a program called

SimpleMed. It has potential but is in a different class from the

others.

If anyone can post their experiences with those it would be great or

contact me directly via email.

Thanks
