Andy: Vinpocetine question

Hi Andy,

What do you know about vinpocetine? I'm interested in its potential to

improve cognitive function for my 11-year-old son. He has what I think of as

a lethargic brain. (He's very smart but thinks slowly and it tires him ?!)

Would vincocetine be worth a try? At what dosage? Are there any

contraindications or possible side effects? Or maybe you'd suggest something

else for such a brain fog...

I think so.

5 mg 3-4 times a day.

It makes some kids hyper. Otherwise I don't know of any reason not to

try it.

Lots of things, but a more detailed discussion would be needed to

Vinpocetine did not make my son hyper, but did actually lessen hyperactivity.
